Vialegis is looking to recruit a consultant responsible for selecting and recruiting lawyers, compliance/regulatory experts and/or tax advisors for temporary or permanent assignments. Bilingual French/English with a proven record as a legal professional, preferably in financial law or taxation. Knowledge of Lëtzebuergesch, Dutch and/or German is a plus.
The origins of Vialegis are in Belgium: Vialegis was set up in 2003. It has grown exponentially over the years: it became the outspoken market leader for the selection and recruitment of lawyers as well as legal interim managers. Offices in Luxembourg and Spain (Iterlegis) were opened in 2008 and other jurisdictions are likely to follow in 2010.
Vialegis distinguishes itself by providing a service of excellence. In order to be able to do that, all Vialegis consultants are lawyers with extensive private practice or in house experience.
Functie :
As Vialegis consultant, you will be responsible for the executive searches of lawyers, compliance experts and tax counsels, both for permanent or temporary positions.
Together with the client, you will draw up the ideal profile of the candidate, conduct the preparatory research and interview selected candidates. You will regularly report to the client and you will draw up a shortlist of best suited candidates. All of this you will do bearing in mind the Vialegis values, including excellence, absolute discretion, service mindedness and drive to help a candidate find a position that suits his/her needs.
In addition to the recruitment and selection aspects, you will also be actively involved in business development in close cooperation with the CEO of Vialegis.
Gezocht profiel :
You qualified as a lawyer and have between 5 and 10 years of professional experience in a major law firm or company. You are a Luxembourg national or you have been living and working in Luxembourg for at least 5 years and have established a strong network.
You have a passion for people, are truly interested in what others have to tell and are a good communicator. You are service minded and discrete, yet outgoing. You like the challenge of a difficult search. You are result-driven.
You have a thorough knowledge of (written and spoken) French and English. Knowledge of Lëtzebuergesch, Dutch or German is a plus.
