Our client is part of an international group, in the energy sector

For their offices located Brussels-East, they are looking for a (m / f) Legal advisor.

Functie :

Support their group companies in Belgium as part of a centralized legal department;
Advice on operational activities, including supply agreements, tenders, partnership and consultancy agreements, general conditions, etc.;
Help identify and manage the legal risks associated to the organization and optimize the contracts with customers and suppliers;
Give general legal advice, primarily in general commercial law, company law, environmental law and legislation regarding government assignments, as part of an international environmental group;
Preparation of contracts and participate in negotiation processes;
Develop and maintain standard contracts and general conditions;
Prepare and make available all necessary legal documents for all Belgian branches;
Take initiatives and proposals on legal aspects in decision-making procedures;
Monitor developments in legislation and case law and apply this in practice;
Entertain contacts with lawyers and other external (legal) advisers.

Gezocht profiel :

You hold a degree in law from a Belgian University;

You have at least 3 years experience in a law firm and/or as in-house counsel;

You have an excellent command of Dutch and French, good knowledge of English is definitely a plus;

You have a strong affinity and understanding of the business;

You are pragmatic and have a proactive attitude;

You are able to operate independently and work in a team.
