Main responsibilities

As Legal Advisor, you report to the Legal Director of NLMK Europe. Your main mission is to ensure that rights of NLMK European companies are safeguarded in various commercial contracts that you would be managing in close collaboration with other departments; you would also lead the implementation of the compliance program.

On commercial contract & corporate side:
- Draft and review of standard contractual documentation (general terms and conditions, supply agreements, service agreements, NDAs, etc.);
- Draft, consolidate and update a data base of templates;
- Assist on specific corporate law matters, such as corporate housekeeping.
On compliance program side:
- Help developing and implementing (including via third-party available channels) and monitor the compliance program through NLMK European subsidiaries to ensure that quality standards are applied in this scope, serve as a local compliance liaison and advise on possible violations and administrate complaints;
- Develop and facilitate training activities on compliance topics, according to the priorities defined

Your profile

You hold a Master degree in Law with economic and commercial orientation;
You have minimum 4 years of experience as lawyer in a reputable law firm in the field of commercial law;
Your are fluent in French and English (read, spoken and written);
Interpersonal skills and top-level organizational skills:
- Interest in the business side of legal work and curiosity to learn about our industry;
- Being comfortable with working autonomously with various internal stakeholders;
- Strong sense of initiative and collaboration;
- Ownership and attention to detail.
