For its Business Line Marine in Antwerp, ACI is looking for Senior Claims Adjusters (2).

Fonction :

You accept and analyze damage reports. You are responsible for examining, providing advice on, judging and processing claims (from a legal perspective).
In this position you liaise, follow-up and negotiate with counter-parties, brokers, lawyers and damage experts. You will set aside the necessary reserves to cover claims and will subrogate if needed.
You give form and substance to the development and maintenance of sustainable business relations with specialist brokers/clients and follow the developments in claims and in the marine sector in general.

Profil recherché :

You obtained a university degree or equivalent by experience, preferably a Master in Law and/or additional qualifications in Maritime Law/Sciences. You have a proven experience in claims handling, preferably in the marine sector. Insurance knowledge and/or knowledge of the maritime sector are a plus.
You are Dutch and/or French-speaking and have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

You have an outgoing, open and persuasive personality and an analytical mind. You are pro-active, well-organized and flexible. You are able to work independently as well as in team.
