Fonction :

You will join the Belgian litigation department, which assists clients in Belgian and international disputes, including court and arbitration proceedings. The cases you will handle often involve cross-border issues and will require you to work together internationally with colleagues and with other firms.

Through litigation experience you will also increase your contract drafting skills.

The litigation department often teams up with other departments to assist on transactional work and has its own client base in various industries, including the energy, construction and distribution sectors. These teams specialise in areas such as white-collar crime, corporate litigation, aviation and asset finance and insolvency & restructuring.

Working with the litigation and transactional practice, means working with each of the other departments. The content of your work is defined by the specifics of each case, and you should therefore be willing to deal with a wide variety of matters.

Profil recherché :

You have obtained a Belgian Master in law with excellent academic results.

You have a perfect knowledge of Dutch and a good command of French and English.

You like to work in a team, but you are able to work independently at the same time.

You have excellent communication skills.

You are creative and solution-driven.

You will provide an added value to clients in a pro-active and ‘can do’ manner.
