Liedekerke welcomes Dominique Devos as new environmental law partner in its real estate and regulatory practice group

Belgian law firm Liedekerke consolidates its Environmental law capabilities with the arrival of Dominique Devos. He joined the firm as partner in its Real Estate and Regulatory Practice Group.

Dominique advises clients on public, administrative, and environmental law, focusing particularly on soil and waste legislation. Having been a part of the legal department of the Flemish Waste Authority (OVAM) has given Dominique an excellent knowledge of waste management, soil remediation, and contaminated land. Dominique is recognised as one of the key persons behind brownfield development in Flanders.

He has an all-round experience in all aspects of environmental law and focuses on soil remediation files. He also advises on several other fields of law such as regulations that deal with REACH, RoHS, and product liability. Dominique also has a particular expertise in food and feed, such as food labeling, packaging, health claims, recalls and regulatory compliance.

Dominique is recognised by leading legal directories. Chambers and Partners says: "He is reactive, has high expertise in the environmental field and perfectly understands [clients'] issues."
