ELSA Brussels organised its own eloquence tournament and moot court on 27 March 2014 in the Palace of Justice. The moot court is obviously a popular event among the law students, as demonstrated by the large number of participants and their supporters. The jury was composed of M. de Brouwer, M. Uyttendaele, M. Van den Haute and M. Garabedian, who awarded first prize to Catherine Cools (ULB) in the eloquence event, whereas the victory in the moot court event was for the team of Faudel Saadi and Loïc Vandenhende (ULB).
ELSA Belgium held its National Moot Court on April 2, at the Campus de la Plaine (ULB). The overall winners were the team composed of Frederik Van Camp and Pieter Gryffroy (KUL) Second spot on the podium was for Zola Dorjbaya and Joris Maesen (VUB) and Arthur Van Greunsen and Ellen Herinckx (KUL) were awarded third prize.
On April 7, ELSA Brussel gave out its annual charity grant to the Cell for International Humanitarian Law of the ULB.
