Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP announces today the promotion of Hakim Haouideg to its partnership effective from 1 May 2013.
Hakim Haouideg joined the Intellectual Property (IP) department in the firm's Brussels office in October 2009 together with partner Stijn Debaene, both from Allen and Overy.
Hakim litigates cases with a particular focus on copyrights and trade marks and assists clients in IP-rich transactions such as technology transfer, software licensing, consulting, outsourcing and film production and distribution.
Hakim graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain and completed an LL.M in Law, Science & Technology at Stanford University. He worked previously for the technology transfer offices of the University of Namur and Stanford University.
The promotion of Hakim, along with four colleagues in the London office and one in the Munich office, brings the firm's partnership headcount to 154. The promotions are testament to the dedication and the strong performance put in over the past year. All this year's promotions come into effect on 1st May 2013
