Liberius welcomes a new EU Competition and Regulatory Partner in Brussels

Liberius welcomes Wilko van Weert as a Partner in its Brussels-based EU & Competition Practice Group. Wilko specialises in EU competition and regulatory matters, with a principal focus on providing strategic advice on EU, Belgian and Dutch competition law. He notably assists clients in complying with the evolving regulatory and ethical standards that businesses are increasingly faced with. 

Wilko has frequently advised on the antitrust and merger control aspects of renewable energy and environmental cooperation projects, notably in the EV/automotive sector. He joins the firm from Norton Rose Fulbright where he was Managing Partner of the Brussels office. Previously he practiced with McDermott, Will & Emery and Bird & Bird. His addition significantly bolsters Liberius’ capabilities and reinforces the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional legal services to its clients.
